GMA Statement on the Selection of Mike Jackson as President and CEO of the National Grocers Association

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Statement of Pamela G. Bailey, president and CEO of the Grocery Manufacturers Association, regarding the selection of Mike Jackson as president and CEO of the National Grocers Association:

“On behalf of the Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA) Board of Directors, membership and staff, I congratulate Mike Jackson on his selection as president and CEO of the National Grocers Association (NGA).

“The NGA board has chosen an outstanding leader with an impressive record of accomplishment. He understands the unique role independent retailers and wholesalers play in meeting the needs of consumers. He knows what it takes to succeed and is the logical choice to lead NGA successfully into the future.

“GMA and NGA have a long and successful track record of collaboration and accomplishment and I look forward to working with Mr. Jackson in his new role to strengthen that relationship and help our respective member companies serve their customers better, faster and more completely than ever before.”
