Does GMA maintain sales information on its member companies or the industry in general?
GMA does not collect information regarding sales data. Contact any of the industry trade publications or the data providers, such as Information Resources, Inc. or ACNielsen, for assistance.
As an individual or start-up company with a new product, where can I go to get exposure for my product?
Food Marketing Institute’s annual supermarket convention is an outstanding opportunity to gain visibility within the industry. For more information on the FMI Show, go to http://www.fmi.org/meetings/may.
Does GMA maintain a database of industry products?
GMA does not maintain a comprehensive listing of industry products because this number is in the millions. The association is unaware of an exisiting list at this time.
Have GMA’s pallet specification from the 1970’s been updated?
GMA's three sets of pallet specifications (hardwood, west coast wood and southern pine) remain the recommended standard for pallet specifications.
Where can I get more information on the UCCnet project?
Uniform Code Council has established a unique site regarding the UCCnet project. Go to http://www.uccnet.org.
